FREE Event: Moira Speciality Food Fair

This August, food lovers are in for a real treat as the Moira Speciality Food Fair returns for its milestone 10th year and for the first time ever, it’s stretching over two full days. Taking place on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th August at the picturesque Moira Demesne, this beloved event promises a weekend packed with flavour and local talent.

A Celebration of Local Flavour

The Moira Speciality Food Fair has always been about showcasing the very best in artisan food and drink from across Northern Ireland. This year, visitors can expect an even bigger line-up of stalls, street food vendors, and live demonstrations from some of the region’s most exciting chefs and producers.

From freshly baked goods to charcuterie, homemade pies to innovative plant-based treats. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet the makers, sample their creations, and take home something truly special.

Star Producers You Won’t Want to Miss

Among this year’s star line-up are:

  • Bakery Next Door - Irresistible breads, pastries, and sweet bakes made with love (and often devoured on the spot).

  • The Pie Shop Moira – Serving hearty, flavour-packed pies that taste like home.

  • Ispini Charcuterie – Showcasing award-winning cured meats made right here in Northern Ireland.

  • Noreen’s Nettles – Championing unique, foraged flavours that you won’t find anywhere else.

And that’s just the start, dozens more producers will be on hand, offering samples, tasters, and take-home treats for every palate.

A Festival Atmosphere for All Ages

It’s not just about food (though that is a major highlight). Expect live music, cookery demos from big names like Chef Chris McGowan of Wine & Brine, and plenty of space to relax with a picnic or explore the surrounding parkland.
