3 Mouth-Watering New Stalls at St George’s Market

St George’s Market is always buzzing with the best of Belfast’s food scene - but just when you think you’ve tasted it all, something new (and seriously tasty) pops up. This month, we’ve tracked down three brand-new stalls that are already making waves, each serving something completely different but equally irresistible.

1. Pie Eyed - Comfort Classics, Wrapped in Pastry

We all love a hearty chicken curry, a rich Irish stew, or a fragrant masala but have you ever tried them in a pie? Pie Eyed has taken our favourite traditional dishes and given them a genius twist by encasing them in homemade, hand-pressed pastry. Every element is made from scratch, from the buttery, flaky crust to the flavour-packed fillings. Whether you’re after nostalgic comfort food or something to warm you up on a chilly Belfast morning, these pies are pure hug-in-a-handheld form.

2. That Cookie Guy - Big Bold Cookies

If your sweet tooth is calling, That Cookie Guy is answering. These aren’t your average cookies; they’re thick and absolutely loaded. Think Oreo-stuffed dough, indulgent Kinder Bueno chunks, or the signature Confetti Cookie - a white chocolate cookie dough packed with colourful sprinkles and finished with a caramel drizzle.

3. Fuin - The Micro Bakery with Big Buns

Fuin is a micro bakery turning heads with its rustic, flavour-forward bakes. The menu changes regularly, but expect pillowy cinnamon buns dripping in glaze, earthy pistachio pastries, and perfectly chewy sourdough loaves that taste like they came straight from a countryside oven. It’s the kind of stall you can smell before you see and once you do, you’ll want to take home at least one of everything.
